International Safety Research Inc. (ISR) provides services worldwide in the technological areas of nuclear safety, radiation protection, emergency preparedness and response, safety management systems, and CBRNE counter-terrorism response. ISR helps organizations identify, develop, implement and test the tools and knowledge needed to effectively deal with small and large-scale safety management programs.

ISR was incorporated in 1998 by its two senior directors, Dr. Lafortune and Dr. Lemay, who have over 30 years of combined experience in safety and emergency response. Currently, ISR employs twenty-two full-time professionals, two technical and three admin staff and several consultants in the areas of risk, safety and emergency management. ISR is a holder of the Certificate of Authorization.

ISR is a centre of excellence for the complete safety management cycle. ISR integrates scientific solutions to complex organizational, operational and technical problems in the areas of prevention, preparedness and response. ISR serves industries and governments involved in the use of energy and other large-scale industrial technologies.
